Most watch travel apps only allow passengers to scan bar codes versus using a mobile boarding pass. Our app assists passengers through all stages of their journey. A key insight was recognizing that traveling can be stressful. We identified the watch to be a seamless, hands-free way to remove stress. Its constant ability to communicate with the flight monitor provides highly contextual, real-time data. The app was one of the few to launch in tandem with the Apple Watch and the results have been staggering. Since the release date of the Apple Watch our app was downloaded more than 1,900,000 times, an increase of 655% to the daily average.
