The new corporate design for the "Düsseldorfer Jazzrally" – the largest jazz festival in Germany – makes visible what can be heard for four days every year: the whole of Düsseldorf is full of music. The figurative mark unites (jazz) music and the city of Düsseldorf: "J" and "d" become one initial, on the inside of which a note is created. With the striking use of the branding as a key visual in all media, the jazz rally finds its way into the city. Transformed into "note instruments," the figurative mark lets the visitors themselves become musicians.
