AT30Q by contrast aims at expanding sales in store-front use, supports touch scan and provides more stable and easy scan for the cashier. While enhanced with design features that maximizes the distant scan performance, it adopts a low cost solution for touch scan, simply shifting scan optics rearward to bring focal point at the end of scan opening. Distinctive hood-less design does not hide the target providing more confident operation. A bold application of soft material at the tip ensures safe contact to scan surface.
