The design focus is to enable users to quickly and instantly start and control cooktop elements. Each cooktop element can be intuitively controlled using a dedicated controller, which is designed in the circular metaphor of the elements and their locations. The elements’ semicircular lighting casts an image of a flame, helping users sense the fire level at a glance. In addition to the touch control, the movable magnetic knobs can be easily manipulated to select users’ preferences or the cooking environment.
