The permanent exhibition "archeology" covers six ages of history in archeology. The different epochs can be discovered at six architectural time islands. The exhibition design refers to the stratigraphy of archeological excavation sites. In diverse colored layers the historical objects are exposed. The exhibition design complements the historical room construction and creates an interesting topographical exhibition landscape. Several medial and didactic elements illustrate the artifacts and complete the exhibition. Special rooms accessible only to kids are located below the time islands and create an interactively explorable exhibition.
