It is a portable broadcast zoom lens achieving an ultra-wide-angle focal length of 4.5 mm with a minimum focusing distance of 0.3 m for use with 4K cameras. The ultra-high-precision large-diameter aspherical lens can maximally control the common issues with super-wide-angle lenses: image distortion and a decrease in peripheral resolution. This allows for stable high-resolution imaging at any zoom range to shoot dynamic ultra-wide-angle footage for landscapes / sports, or images close to the object. Also, on the telephoto side, covering a focal length up to 59 mm works great for various scenes such as programming and news shot indoors / outdoors.
