Taking a futuristic approach to the motorcycle helmet, Designworks has integrated interactive head-up display technology with cutting edge rider performance and safety. Collaborating with BMW’s Technology Office in San Francisco, the design team developed the hardware, user experience (UX) and user interaction design (UI) to produce a unique rider experience. The freely programmable head-up technology allows for a rider-centered display that gives the rider real-time responsive performance information and trip conditions. The design increases rider safety by reducing the need to glance away from the road.
