The Cutting Edge is a dispensing pharmacy located nearby Himeji Daiichi general hospital in Japan. The idea behind this project is to promote the hospital by giving it a new image as it is subject to strong competition. The pharmacy is situated on one of the most important streets in the region. The façade is fully glazed and contoured by protracted sharp edges. The edges also project into the minimalist white interior demarcated by a black cross. This minimalistic space designed in clean straight lines creates a sharp, high-tech image that patients expect from an advanced medical care.
