As companies transition to digital manufacturing processes, there is a growing need for physically precise virtual designs that represent the true appearance of the final product. The VLB enables accurate, side-by-side visualization and comparison of 3D digital material renderings with physical material samples to enable designers to predict precisely how their product will look at the end of the process. This first of its kind VLB can quickly and iteratively re-imagine appearance across different objects and lighting contexts to allow cooperative exploration and decision-making while providing the tools needed to elevate creative thinking.
