UDX is a mechanical transmission milling head for a Correa milling machines combining unique technologies, high spindle speeds (10,000 rpm) and powerful torque (up to 620 Nm). Conventional, kinematic milling heads are limited to just 6,000 rpm and current electronic high-speed heads reach a maximum torque of 120Nm. The UDX merges the advantages of electronic and kinematic milling heads, thereby reducing cost and energy consumption per machined component and significantly reducing investment as only one head is required. This fusion of innovative technologies is reflected in the mechanical and robotic design elements.
