Incense is used daily in Tibet. The packaging design combines the concept and elements of sundial and Tibetan kala chakra. The sundial reflects the time elapsing in a day, while the kala chakra references time in the past, present and future. The movement of the shadow on the sundial reminds people of the two kinds of time. This kind of thought is part of the public Sādhanā, which helps the user gain brief peace in the hustle and bustle in urban life. The combination of the two kinds of visualizations of time represents a fusion of Tibetan and Chinese culture.
