Oxxiom is the world’s first wireless, fully disposable, single-use, clinical grade pulse oximeter. It integrates the oximetry’s sensing and processing units into a single device. Oxxiom offers 24 hours of continuous monitoring of Sp02 (oxygen saturation), PR (pulse rate) and PI (perfusion index), and was designed with the patient’s wellbeing in mind. It is completely cableless, weighs only 3.5 grams and allows patients complete freedom of movement. Oxxiom requires no sterilization, and significantly cuts the risks of infection. Its origami-like outer shell is made from biocompatible adhesive tape, reducing manufacturing costs.
