With the growing trend of beverages on the go, it has become even more important to have resource saving solutions. The novelty of this product is the integration of the lid to the paperboard cup structure, so that you don’t need a separate plastic lid anymore. The folding lid is designed to be simple, fast and secure; an improvement compared to a traditional plastic lid. Since we removed the need for a plastic lid, the recycling is much easier. As the cup is not an open top structure anymore but fully closed, the overall stiffness of our LidLoc design is improved, resulting in a reduction in the paperboard weight compared to traditional cup design.
