Altherma establishes a completely redefined design strategy. Special focus was put on clear topologies and the interaction between large, undisturbed primary surfaces and subtle details. The flow of the casing of the front and side panels provides the device with a compact and elegant appearance. Inspired by Daikin’s user centric idea of interaction, the overall topology emphasizes the UI as a core part of the overall design. The "Daikin Eye" key visual identifies this device with other Daikin products and the Daikin app. The design considers the architectural context by its rectangular and clean surfaces resulting in an unobtrusive design.
