The new design concept for SINAMICS G120X inverters in a high IP55 degree of protection encompasses six devices with six different power ratings. They control three-phase motors in moist and dusty environments, either indoors or outdoors. The objective was to create a high-quality functional design with a low profile and dynamic image across all frame sizes – making it easier to connect the device when mounted on walls and panels. The operator panel has a high-quality translucent cover with a sealing function that highlights the functional element and accentuates the distinctive Siemens look and feel.
