In cooperation with TEN DESIGN & ENGINEERING AGENCY and FabLab Brussels, MOLECUBES has developed the most compact (pre)clinical benchtop scanners ever. The scanners are used in research on rare diseases, tumor samples, and new drugs. Knowing that a lot of competitive systems are bulky, hard to operate and resemble manufacturing machines, MOLECUBES opted for a different style: a clean design and a very intuitive user interface. There are no operational buttons and the machine is fully remotely controlled (through a touchpad). Integrated light strips on the edges offer visual cues on how a scan is progressing.
