The HP Chromebook x2 is designed for all the ways people work. The tablet can detach, flip over, and reattach with its back facing the keys. With it open in easel position, it’s perfect for displaying media, presentations, or movies, and the keys never face down to the table. The hinge is a solid shape across the back of the keyboard that also acts as a foot for the laptop. Opening the Chromebook x2 in laptop mode rotates the keyboard base on the hinge, lifting the keyboard for typing comfort. As it lifts, it pivots on the single rubber foot at the front. Instead of multiple hinges or feet, it makes use of long, single shapes.
