The Kwords cup is a ceramic design piece inspired by the beauty of Chinese characters. Each character of the thousand-character script forms the base of a Kwords cup in a three-dimensional design. The process of development involved a marriage of 3D printing technology and traditional manual thin porcelain technology. These two modes of production – traditional and modern – complement each other in the Kwords cup.
