The P1000 is the world’s first camera to support hand-held shooting with 125× optical zoom. Its high-power zoom capability covers macro shooting of subjects just 1 cm from the front lens, to 3000mm-equivalent super-telephoto shooting (in 35mm format) of distant subjects such as birds and the moon, providing new opportunities for imaging expression. The camera features a firm grip, an optimized control layout that enables quick access to most functions while zooming, and high-precision vibration reduction as well as 4K movie recording. Use of the optional dot sight helps users keep track of their subjects while preserving a broad view.
