Burgeree set out to build a simple, sturdy, soft, eco-friendly and safe pet house from a single material. In making a unibody-3D shape by press molding a felt panel, wrinkles inevitably appeared where surfaces were gathered. In order to solve this problem, Burgeree spent six months in design and production experimentation to optimize the panel strength and thickness, press temperature, and design detail.
