Bestore is a well-known Chinese enterprise creating leisure food, which they sell both online and offline. The packaging design is for a New Year’s gift. The design brief was to upgrade the whole feeling from the traditional and stereotypical in fashionable and modern. Exquisite illustrations are combined with a new packaging structure, which is inspired by ancient Chinese gift boxes from the Emperor. The layers inside, where braille will be printed, will be distinguished by an eco-friendly material called wet-compressing paper membrane. Thus, the new design turns out to be both functional and aesthetic.
