Car pileups can be disastrous and given the high speeds at which vehicles ply on the freeways, preventing secondary collisions can be tricky. The Air Bag Taillight is a safety balloon lamp that gets deployed as soon as the airbag of a crashed car blows up. The idea is to forewarn vehicles from a far, that an accident has taken place and to slow down their speed. On paper it’s a good idea, but I’m not sure if it will work very well. What do you think?
