Materials usually help designers realize their ideas. Sometimes, however, it works the other way around. Materials become points of inspiration for designers. Sam Linders sought inspiration from flexibility and woven patterns. The resultant Wobble Up project creates woven mats that double up as makeshift chairs. Made out of punched soft-plastic sheets, Sam really does a wonderful job creating interesting weaves, and making use of colors that complement contemporary interiors. Do take a look!
