Erectile dysfunction? Reduced reproductive ability? Groin sensitivity? These are both a man’s worst nightmare and the reality caused by most bicycle saddles. Saddle discomfort is one of the most pressing (yet least discussed) health issues in road cycling for men. Carbon fiber saddles can reduce bike weight, but they are hard and unforgiving, causing additional damage to the pubic region. The Xenon bike saddle concept has a custom 3D printed polyurethane elastomer mesh to reduce road vibrations, absorb impact, and distribute pressure evenly. The mesh is compressed in a firm carbon shell, providing the cyclist with a healthier alternative that won’t weigh down their ride. Designer: Eric Cross
