Bo Zhang’s latest project is a marriage of two unlikely seating designs of the past that come together to pay tribute to 2 notable designers with 2 chairs that changed furniture forever! It’s part Thonet’s 14 chair, widely known as the “bistro chair,” and part Marcel Breuer’s Cesca chair which made tubular steel furniture an international sensation. When it comes to overall shape, it’s more similar to the bistro chair with an elegant, curved structure. As for material and dimension, it’s reminiscent of tubular steel.
