It may sound a little strange and redundant, but swimmers get dehydrated, and constantly need fluid intake. Obviously chlorinated water, even though it seems logical, isn’t the healthy solution. The Oasis, with its rather poetic name, is a drinking water fountain that allows swimmers to stay hydrated while doing their laps. Designed with a very organic form, almost looking like a stingray in the water, the Oasis uses the swimming pool’s water as a reservoir, purifying it so that it’s fit for consumption. Its design also allows it to fit onto the lane-lines and therefore stay fixed and above the surface. I’d much rather drink water from the oasis than from the pool, because *ahem ahem* it isn’t just the chlorine I’m worried about. Designer: Max Rose
