PDF Haus are back once again with their design hybrids. This time it’s Braun and its take on a standing fan. What if Braun made a standing fan, sounds like quite a plausible question, to be honest. Nevertheless, channeling Braun’s design style in a way is trying to attain Design Nirvana I believe, so the Standing Fan concept by DongOh Hwang and PDF Haus does achieve something truly unique. The fan’s no-nonsense yet aesthetic styling shows how closely Dieter Rams’ ten principles have been listened to and followed. And the fact that I draw similarities between this fan, and Apple’s styling (because we all know of the Braun/Apple relationship, right?), just goes to prove what a great job PDF Haus has done!
