The energy required for pumping, bottling, and transporting bottled water is nearly 1000 times higher than tap water! So why do we insist on continuing to use bottles (especially when we know where that material waste ends up)? The simple answer is… because we want the best taste. The OE Filtering Carafe improves taste and quality using a filtering system that won’t let you forget to change it on time. The mechanical dial located directly on top of the unit acts as a sort of timer, driven by the flow of water pouring out. The dial will signal when it’s best to swap the filter based on the amount of water that has passed and not just the amount time it’s been used.
