Each appropriately designed leaf-shaped module comprises micro-algae that when exposed to light, become active and cleanse the air of excess carbon dioxide. Titled Exhale, the bionic chandelier explores applications of biotechnology in our day to day lives to improve quality of living. The algae within the leaves mimic the action of the leaf by absorbing CO2 and release O2 in the process.
