From the sand to the surf, the ConSolight aims to provide efficient illumination in the seaside places humans love to enjoy. They can be planted in the sand to provide pathway lighting in low light or they can be buoyed offshore to provide guidance in the water. In either situation, the design harnesses solar energy during the day to power its bright LEDs at night. For after-hours scuba divers and swimmers, an additional LED that rests below the water’s surface serves as a beacon for navigating when it’s dark.
