This is a novel workbook that uses the Japanese word "unko", or "poop", to help the student memorize 1,006 kanji characters that are taught in elementary school. The workbook is based on an effective instructional approach in which the student learns through laughter. For example, the kanji "号" would be taught using a sample sentence that goes "poop needs to be submitted in the order of student number" (student number in kanji being "出席番号"). Or for the kanji "画", a sample sentence stating "an artist that only draws poop" (artist in kanji being "画家") would be used.
