The name of the project derives from "Ten stories starting from a village forest." This is a general term for the program which was launched based on the life-style showroom and composite accommodation Satoyama Jujo. For the purposes of proposing and transmitting a "truly rich life," it consists of ten themes in total: "agriculture," to experience farm work such as organic cultivation of Uonuma-Koshihikari rice, "art," to make renovation efforts in cooperation with industry and the University of Arts, and "food," to add a new touch to the local food culture (local production for local consumption) in collaboration with professional cooks, as well as clothing, housing, playing, environment, relaxation, health and gathering. It plays a part in revitalizing the mountain village with little tourist attractions and in creating employment, by generating a new travelling style and a new destination, which is not just for a simple hot spring trip, and by stimulating the senses of all who participate through a real experience.
