The ultimate wheelchair "MC-X," was born here in Hamamatsu, created by a technical expert group who brought their craftsmanship skills together. Adopting the innovative and stylish design of a racing car designer, a multi-material technique was used for the first time for a wheel chair, employing the right light-weight high-strength parts in the right place to make the lightest wheelchair in the world. Integration of the technical guidance provided by materials experts and the craftsmanship that Hamamatsu is proud of has been able to realize multiple functions including high strength, corrosion resistance and shock resistance, resulting in an excellent final product that is highly rigid and ultra-lightweight.
