Designed by the Brisbane based design team, the A-city 25kV EMU is a combination of organic styling and clean edges. The key inspiration was Adelaide’s rolling green hills that surround the city and the old 2000 class fleet of DMUs, affectionately known to locals as the ‘jumbos’. Smooth lines and body contours display a timeless elegance. The A-city interior has been designed with meticulous attention to detail creating a functional and stylish product.
