Amal is an Arabic word that stands for hope. The aim of the festival is to bring Arab social context and culture closer to the general public in Spain, within the international language of cinema. The poster was designed to highlight hope within European and Arabs. Symbolic elements were used like the crescent and the cross to demonstrate the junction of the two cultures. Also, two languages (Arabic, Latin) were merged to look united in order to emphasize the concept of hope and peace.
