The Coat Stand was designed like a highly decorative and functional office sculpture, a fusion of art and function. The composition was thought out to maintain and protect today most iconic corporate garment, the Blazer. The end result is a very energetic and sophisticated piece. In close examination it can be analyzed on four areas: The Hanger, the pole, the base, and the color. The Hanger supports the garment efficiently maintaining its form, hiding much of the hanger characteristics. The pole (the long curved stem) main objective is to grab the viewer attention and keep it away from the hanger. The base was designed to bring stability. Its weight and volume are at its lowest gravity point to stabilize the product, yet small and light for reduction of shipping costs. To conclude Lande can be color customized to the client preferences.
