This unique invitation, in addition to communicating all pertinent event information and incorporating the “journey” theme of the event celebrating Quicken Loans’ 25th anniversary, doubled as a commemorative keepsake. It included a functional, production quality license plate that could be affixed to a vehicle, and each plate was personalized with the employee's name and the year they joined the company. The license plate was affixed to a flip-fold cover which opened to reveal an accordion-folded invitation resembling a map tucked inside a pocket printed with the date of the event in bold type. The background for the invitation resembled a street map and was bordered by a neatline with titles in traditional highway signs. Quicken Loans' ISM characters, which represent the ideals they live by, were adapted into situations relevant to the journey theme and covered the back of the recycled envelope in full color.
